Policy
Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of mariposatravel.com and any travel products, services, and bookings arranged by Mariposa Travel International Corporation ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing our website, submitting an inquiry, or making a booking, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By using our website or services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions, together with any applicable supplier rules, fare conditions, refund policies, privacy notices, and booking confirmations. If you book on behalf of others, you represent that you are authorized to accept these terms for the entire party.
2. Services Covered
Mariposa Travel International Corporation may provide travel-related services such as airline ticketing, hotel bookings, tour packages, visa assistance, transportation arrangements, and other related travel services. The exact scope, inclusions, exclusions, and supplier terms will be stated in your quotation, invoice, itinerary, or booking confirmation.
3. Bookings and Information
You are responsible for providing complete, accurate, and up-to-date information for all travelers, including full names as shown on passports or IDs, contact details, travel dates, and other required documents. We are not liable for delays, penalties, denied boarding, or additional charges caused by incorrect or incomplete information submitted by you.
Bookings are subject to availability, supplier confirmation, and receipt of full or partial payment, depending on the service requested. We reserve the right to decline, cancel, or modify a booking if required by law, supplier rules, suspected fraud, or operational necessity.
4. Prices and Payment
All prices are quoted in the currency stated in the quotation or invoice and may change without prior notice until payment is confirmed. Unless otherwise stated, quoted fares, package rates, taxes, fees, and surcharges may be affected by currency exchange fluctuations, airline changes, hotel adjustments, or government-imposed charges.
Payment must be made through the methods we authorize. If payment is not received on time, the booking may be automatically canceled, released, or re-priced, and any deposit may be forfeited if the supplier's rules so provide.
5. Ticketing and Supplier Rules
Many travel services are subject to the rules of airlines, hotels, embassies, transport providers, tour operators, and other third-party suppliers. Those suppliers may impose separate conditions regarding name changes, date changes, baggage, refunds, check-in times, no-show rules, and service limitations.
Where supplier rules differ from our own policies, the supplier rules will generally control the affected travel service. We are not responsible for supplier decisions, including flight cancellations, schedule changes, overbookings, denied visas, hotel overbookings, or service interruptions beyond our control.
6. Changes and Cancellations
Requests to change or cancel a booking must be submitted in writing and are subject to supplier approval, availability, fare rules, penalties, and service fees. Some bookings may be non-refundable, partially refundable, or fully forfeited depending on the supplier's conditions and the timing of your request.
If you fail to show up, miss a flight, arrive late, or are denied service due to incomplete documentation or non-compliance with entry requirements, the booking may be treated as a no-show and no refund may be available.
7. Refunds
Refunds, when available, are not automatic and are subject to the applicable supplier rules, our policies, and any non-recoverable costs already incurred. Processing times vary depending on the provider, payment method, and banking timelines, and any service fees, card charges, and supplier penalties may be deducted where permitted.
Where a booking is canceled by a supplier or by us for reasons beyond your control, we may assist in requesting a refund, rebooking, or travel credit, but the final outcome depends on the relevant supplier's policies and applicable law.
8. Travel Documents and Requirements
You are solely responsible for ensuring that all travelers have valid passports, visas, permits, health certificates, vaccination records, insurance, and other documents required for travel or entry into a destination. We do not guarantee the approval of visas, immigration clearance, or entry permits, and we are not liable for losses arising from refusal, delay, or denial by any authority.
If a destination or supplier requires a waiver, medical certificate, health declaration, or other compliance document, failure to provide it may result in cancellation without refund.
9. Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend that all travelers obtain comprehensive travel insurance covering trip cancellation, medical expenses, accidents, personal belongings, flight disruptions, and other travel risks. Unless expressly stated in writing, we do not provide insurance coverage and are not responsible for any losses that could have been insured.
10. Liability Limits
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mariposa Travel International Corporation is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses, including missed connections, loss of enjoyment, lost profits, or additional expenses arising from delays, cancellations, strikes, weather, government action, supplier failures, or other events outside our reasonable control.
Our responsibility, if any, is limited to the travel services we directly arrange and only to the extent required by applicable law and confirmed in writing.
11. Force Majeure
We are not responsible for any failure or delay in performance caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, severe weather, pandemics, epidemics, war, civil unrest, labor disputes, government restrictions, airport closures, or transportation disruptions. In such cases, bookings may be rescheduled, adjusted, or subject to supplier policies and availability.
12. Website Use
You agree not to misuse the website, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with its operation, upload harmful code, or use the site for unlawful purposes. We may suspend or restrict access to the site or our services if we believe these Terms have been violated.

15. Amendments
We may update these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. The updated version will take effect when posted on mariposatravel.com, unless a later effective date is stated. Continued use of our website or services after changes are posted means you accept the revised terms.
16. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws applicable to the jurisdiction where Mariposa Travel International Corporation is registered and operates, unless a different rule is required by law or stated in your booking documents. Any dispute should first be raised with us in good faith so we can try to resolve it amicably.
